Wedding Flowers in an Irish Castle
Getting married in an real Castle is a dream not everyone get's to for fill. But for the wonderful Cat & Alexander this became reality.
Planning their destination wedding from their home in the US they discovered Waterford Castle Hotel, located on it's own island in the centre of Waterford City.
Steeped in Irish history, the site of Waterford Castle settled from ancient times, was ancestral home of the Fitzgerald Family for 800 years this enchanting Island surrounded by the River Suir, was fashioned by nature, sheltered and secure.
When settling on their very own Irish Castle for the wedding the choice of florist was enhanced by there recommendation from wedding and event planner at Waterford castle as well as the portfolio and social media posts of local florist Lamber de Bie Flowers.
Mashy, who is part of Lamber de Bie Flowers for over 15 years and in charge of their Waterford Wedding florists team became the main contact for the couple from about one year prior to their big day when the bride to be contacted us first after seeing our website.
Mashy looked after the wedding flowers from initial email, trough concept ideas and perfect execution on the day. She even had time for a chat with the bride to be o note morning of the wedding.
Mashy and her team of florists from Lamber de Bie flowers decorated not only the grand entrance to the castle but also decorated the staircase, fireplace in the main hall and all the tables for dinner in the ballroom.
The flowers chosen for the wedding reflected the joyful and happy character of the couple as well as fitting perfect with Irish Summer Garden Wedding.

Lamber de Bie is the best there is! Mashy and the team created the most stunning floral arrangements for us. They listened to our vision and helped us bring it to life. We were coming from the US to get married and they were great in helping us plan from abroad. They knew our venue so well and were prepared for any changes due to weather. We wanted a lot of bright colors and the team put together arrangements better than I could have imagined!
Everyone at Lamber de Bie is so kind and funny and I had a great time talking with them on the wedding day as they set up. People were raving about how beautiful the arrangements are and I am so grateful they were part of our big day!
