True Blue for an Irish Castle Summer Wedding

We were contacted by the wonderful Michelle from Waterlily Weddings. Lamber has known and worked with Michelle and her team of event planners of Waterlily many times over a long number of years. It is always a joy knowing that every element of the wedding is under control so that our work as florists and decorators will look at it's very best!

The main colour was True Blue and the couple were insisting on a garden ceremony. We looked after the blue element with Hydrangea flowers, Blue Delphiniums and some blue thistle while Michelle chose the perfect venue - The grounds of the amazing Kilkea Castle in Co. Kildare, Ireland. The elegant venue for summer wedding flowers.

After some planning trough many emails back and forth we were ready to go for an amazing wedding weekend for our couple.

And we had plenty of the most beautiful Hydrangea blooms. Directly from the growers in Holland with the help of our wonderful suppliers of van de Plas who visited the Nursery many times to make sure our Blooms would be in perfect shape arriving to us for the wedding.

Lamber himself was hands on creating the giant "Floating clouds" of blue and white Hydrangea flowers for on the guests dining tables.
