For as long as our florists are in Waterford, Mount Congreve Gardens have been a favourite place to visit for Lamber and all the team of florists at Lamber de Bie Flowers.
Situated only minutes away from our flower shop in the Kilbarry centre on the Tramore Road in Waterford City and on the way to the motorway that brings us from our Waterford flower shop to our Kilkenny florist shop we love taking the time and stop for a stroll trough these amazing gardens.
Recently after a significant renovations to the main house and opening of the new Secret Garden Shop and Coffee Shop there is a lot more than a world renowned garden to attract us there.
Official Opening of the Beautiful House to the Public.
In March of 2023 the Manor House was first officially opened to the public with a fantastic event including a beautiful diner and party.
Lamber de Bie Flower were there to look after some amazing floral displays for the event. They brought the style of the rick floral in the gardens into large garden Urns in the main reception rooms of the house.

Lamber is a Dutch Master Florist, born in Holland and trained there for nine years to achieve the highest recognition available in the world for a Florist “Dutch Master Florist”."
Mount Congreve Gardens also has very strong Dutch ties. Dutch-born Mr. Herman Dool - a horticulturist and landscaper was employed by Mr. Congreve in the early 1960s as Garden Director of Mount Congreve Gardens. Mr Dool developed the gardens over 40 years and received the Orange Order of Nassau from the Queen of Holland, the equivalent of a British Knighthood, for his achievements.
